Ionut started his career as a counsellor at the Ministry of Communications and Information Society right after graduating the Business Administration faculty at The University of Bucharest in 2008.
After two and half years of evaluating and monitoring EU funded projects in the IT&C field he left the public administration sector to work as a project manager in the private sector. Here he played a key role especially in proposing and implementing ITC projects for the private sector as well as for the public sector.
Since August 2017 Ionut is State Secretary in the Ministry of Communications and Information Society’s State and his main objective is to raise the EU funds absorption and coordinating of Ministry of Communications and Information Society’s projects.
During his first year in the seat, Ionut was highly involved in the different stages of implementation of several projects developed by the Ministry, such as the E-Commerce and E-Governance projects, Governmental Cloud project and the development of the NGN national infrastructure. He also took over the coordination of the Agency for Digital Agenda. From this position, he contributed at the launching of the latest electronic public aquisitions system - SICAP.
SORIN GRINDEANU President,

Sorin Grindeanu has been appointed President of the National Authority for Management and Regulation of Communications in Romania in November 2017. Between January and June 2017, he served as Prime Minister of Romania. From 2012 to 2016, he was an MP and a member of the IT&C Committee in the Chamber of Deputies. He served as Communications Minister from December 2014 to November 2015. Mr. Grindeanu also has extensive experience in the local administration: he was President of the Timiș County Council from June 2016 to December 2017, and before that he served as a vice mayor of Timișoara City, a member of the Timișoara local council and Head of the Timiș County Youth and Sports Directorate. Sorin Grideanu is a graduate of the West University of Timișoara - Faculty of Mathematics, majoring in IT, and holds a Master’s Degree in Data Bases.

Mr. Zoltan Nagy – Bege has more than 10 years' experience working on energy regulatory activities since 2007 as General Director for gas market, regulations for electricity, renewables, energy efficiency and cogeneration. Also he was involved on approving the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) regulations as member of the Regulatory Board of ANRE for 5 years.
Since October 2017, Mr. Zoltan Nagy – Bege was appointed as ANRE Vice-President for 5 years term by the Romanian Parliament and he is the Head of the Energy Efficiency Department within ANRE.
Prior to working to the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE), Mr Zoltan NagyBege has an important activity since 2000 on managing companies and being member on regulatory board for the Romanian administration.
He graduated the Economical Sciences and Management from Babes - Bolyai University from Cluj Napoca in 2000 and took part in several training programs in management like CODECS – The Open University Business School in 2008-2009.
In the context of the national and European energy targets, Mr. Zoltan Nagy-Bege has carried out an important role regarding the implementation of the current energy legislation and elaborating the secondary regulations, by promoting the constructive dialogue with all the stakeholders in the energy regulatory activity and the sustained dissemination of the relevant energy legislation at national and European level.

Dan Nechita is Co-founder and President at Smart Everything Everywhere SEE. He graduated the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. with an M.A. in International Relations and Columbia University in the City of New York with a B.A. in Economics and Political Science. At Columbia, he worked for two years as a research assistant at the Arnold A. Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies.

Mr. Cazacu is working as Cabinet Director for the CIO Office, Government of Romania since October 2016. He has over 25 years of experience in IT and management consulting. He holds a degree in electronic engineering from the Polythechnical University of Bucharest, Romania and an MBA from the Conservatoire des Arts et Metiers, Paris, France.

Adrian Borotea Group strategy and EU agenda Director, CEZ Romania
Adrian Borotea is a Senior Executive Director at CEZ Romania, dealing lately with the CEZ Group strategy in Romania, EU Affairs and Renewables. Balancing studies with career, he graduated in December 2007, an Executive MBA at Pittsburgh University, USA. He has 25 years of experience on Energy and Law Regulation in Romania. He is an active member of different Board of Directors, from electricity distribution, supply, wind generation, hydro generation and different leading bodies of Electricity Sector associations. Currently he is Executive Vice-chairman of RWEA. Previously Mr. Borotea was the Vice-president of the Romanian Regulatory Authority for Electricity and Heat (ANRE). He was responsible for the overall management, negotiations with the stakeholders, drawing up tariff methodologies, prices and the computation of the electricity tariffs for the end users. He was also Vice-president of the Association of Energy Regulators (ERRA).

Managing Director for VASTINT Romania since 2009, Antoniu Panait has an executive experience of more than 10 years, mainly in real estate.
With a strong foundation, built on legal studies, embracing diverse operational responsibilities including administrating complex portfolios and evaluating investment opportunities, at only 31 years old he took the challenge to build and grow the VASTINT team and projects in Romania.
Antoniu Panait is now in charge of a portfolio of three major projects in Bucharest. VALERIU BINIG Senior Advisor EY
Valeriu Binig is Senior Adviser with E&Y and has 30 years of professional experience in the energy sector in various roles ranging from technical and academic to M&A and finance raising advisory, as power plant operation engineer, designer, researcher, lecturer, coordinator of Phare programs, European Commission Delegation Task Manager, top utility company manager, administrator and consultant in investment banking/financial advisory services in the sector. Covering such an extensive experience, he undertook an instrumental role in the transformative process that the local energy market experienced during the last two decades.
Before joining EY, Valeriu Binig held leading positions in other consultancy firms for over 6 years, and also a director position within an investment banking and investment fund management team for another 6 years. He is Co-Chairman of the Energy and Environment Comittee of AmCham Romania and had previously been Chairman of the Board of the Romanian Energy Efficiency Fund (FREE).
CLAUDIU SALANTA Architect in Chief Cluj County Council
Claudiu Salanta is a city planner and currently he holds the position of Chief Architect of Cluj County.
He graduated Architecture and Urban Planning from Technical University in Cluj-Napoca and has a Master's degree in Urban Planning from "Ion Mincu" University of Architecture and Urban Planning in Bucharest. He worked in the private sector and was involved in elaborating of urban planning and architectural projects.
As Chief Architect, he promotes active involvement of the administration in the planning of the territory by adopting good practices in the field.

Dedicated and focused professional, Mihai Jurca is the executive director of one of the few Destination Management Organization (D.M.O.) in Romania, Visit Oradea. Founded as a public private partnership in 2014 and responsible for the marketing strategy of the city, the tourism policies and the event agenda in Oradea, the D.M.O. led by Mihai Jurca has registered a yearly growth of the tourist inbound of over 20%, 2017 being the first year when the number of tourists exceeded the number of inhabitants. With a background in business development, Mihai, is one of the team members that set up the revitalization plan for the city of Oradea. Before being the manager of the tourist department of the city, Jurca was for 4 years, 2010-2014 the business development manager of the Industrial platforms of the city. Having the main responsibility in attracting investors, he contributed exponentially in attracting some of the biggest foreign direct investments in the city. Over 250 million euros in FDI and more that 3000 new jobs are numbers that the industrial platforms brought to the city. He started working for the public administration in 2008, just after graduating from the faculty of International Relations and European Studies, as project manager in the department for EU funding at the city hall of Oradea and Oradea Metropolitan Area. Most of the main infrastructure and development plans of the city, based on EU funding, were submitted from 2008-2011.
